gfsview-batch software package provides batch-version of viewer for Gerris simulation files, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfsview-batch
gfsview-batch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfsview-batch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfsview-batch *
You will get with gfsview-batch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
